Minnesota's Premier Outdoor Amusement Park Over Thirty years ago, Valleyfair Family Amusement Park opened its gates with 20 rides and attractions on 26 acres in Shakopee, Minnesota. The initial park investment was $7.5 million. The park continues to grow every year with new rides and attractions. Today, Valleyfair is the largest amusement park in the upper Midwest with six thrilling roller coasters, a water park and more than 75 rides and attractions on 90 acres of land. Valleyfair's Whitewater Country Waterpark is a great way to chill out and have fun! Included in Valleyfair's general admission, the waterpark's 3.5 acres offers hours of wet fun in the sun. Check out the five water slides at Panic Falls. Also, a 4-person raft ride of Hurricane Falls, which towers above the waterpark at 70 feet. Raging Rapids is a ride guaranteed to soak as well as thrill! Children less than 54" tall will delight in the water-soaked action at Splash Station and Giggle Run. Challenge Park Challenge Park is located on the southeast corner of the park. Challenge Park is a separate charge attraction and requires Valleyfair admission to participate in activities. The entire family will enjoy Challenge Park, which features four different attractions: RipCord©, Adventure Golf, Go-Karts and Bumper Boats. An 18-story Skycoaster© ride that takes guests to a height of 180 feet. With a pull of the "rip cord" guests free-fall for an experience similar to skydiving and hang-gliding. Guests will fly at almost 60 mph. RipCord can accommodate up to three flyers per flight.

Rides Chaos Hang from the ride, then go to a horizontal position by centrifugal force of the spinning ride, which then lifts to a vertical position turning riders upside down while each individual ride until rotates on its own axis. Corkscrew A high speed, looping roller coaster that turns riders upside down three times. Enterprise Start out hanging from the ride, then go to a horizontal position. Excalibur A high-speed wooden roller coaster with a tubular steel track, featuring a 105 foot drop and steep, quick dips and turns. High Roller Valleyfair's classic wooden coaster Looping Starship Pirate style galleon ship with narrow bench seats which rocks back and forth then turns completely upside down. Power Tower A powerful three-tower structure featuring two gravity-defying rides - blasts riders straight up nearly 27 stories in the air before dropping them back to earth + the other tower slowly lifts riders to nearly 275 feet, then plunges them downward faster than a free-fall. RipCord Free fall from 180 feet, the experience is similar to skydiving and hang-gliding. This is a separate fee attraction. RipTide A high-flying, gravity-defying, multi-spinning thrill ride! Skyscraper Rising 160 feet into the air with four passengers ride at a time, each tightly seated in two open seats on opposite ends of the propeller. The propeller rotates around at a speed of over 55-mph. This is a separate fee attraction. Steel Venom 185-foot impulse coaster, propels riders forward and backward and up and down a U-shaped track with spiraling 450-degree corkscrew atop one of the vertical towers! Wild Thing One of the world's longest weightless zones and a 200-foot, 60-degree drop! Xtreme Swing
